I am a PhD candidate in the Philosophy- Neuroscience-Psychology program at Washington University in St. Louis, where I am advised by Allan Hazlett. My research looks at the ways that virtues can backfire, resulting in morally inappropriate behaviors, perceptions, and emotional responses.
In August 2023, I will begin as an Assistant Professor at Purdue University in their Philosophy Department.
I am married to fellow philosopher, Adam Waggoner, and we are the proud parents of our toddler son, Athanasius.
